on a whim, i have purchased a cheap skateboard! I’ve never actually used one of these before, i was always a biker kid, but I’ve just kinda had the urge lately to have something smaller than a bike that i can stuff into a car or something to use when i just don’t feel like walking. we’ll see how it goes!

About a week or so ago I traded in some music gear plus some money from selling something to get a new amp. It’s pretty loud for being in a bedroom, but sounds great nonetheless!

My latest purchase at the local thrift store (~10 min. from the boarding school on foot). The Matrix Trilogy in both DVD and Blue Ray and Watch Dogs for my PS3. I’ve been interested by Watch Dogs because of its hacking mechanics and I watched the Matrix trilogy multiple times (my favorite is the first movie) and finished the Path of Neo game on PS2 multiple times as well (It has a different ending compared to the movies).
Edit : reduced the scaling of the images so they take less space on screen

A recent introduction post reminded me of a really cool thing I got at a recent con: a Xeno metaseries tarot deck! (there might be some spoilers amongst the major arcana on account of interpretation, but i’ll blur any overt spoilers) I’m only showing my favourites here, but feel free to dm me on discord. Well they’re still here for ace… Along with all 7 other pins in the “Pins” category in the filters…
we were thinking the other day that we missed having a dedicated camera (our mother lost our last one when she borrowed it in uh . . . 2015? it’s been a while) so we started looking around for something reasonably full-featured but lightweight and small enough we could carry it in our bag with us when we’re commuting, and last week we settled on this:
we’ve not gotten the chance to take it out for any naturally lit photos yet but so far just taking pics around the house (and of our kids) we like it! it’s nice having something with actual aperture control again
