sometimes I see a thing and I need it

Like this pop-up adaption of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland

This one was to be a pirate at a pirate festival

and one of my favorites:

I don’t regret these in the slightest. I’m proud of them. They’re doing so well.

Do the pistols still work

technically yes, but it hasn’t been fired since its initial function test. most firing ranges don’t allow black powder weapons, and I can’t use smokeless powders bc that’s more powerful than true black powder, and I don’t want to hold an impromptu grenade :/

I have been wanting to buy a musket for years but they are so damn expensive!

I bet that Alice in Wonderland box is so neat! I would love to read through it.

I love all the picture description xD

at my favourite music festival last year there was a poet-for-hire in the corner with a typewriter and she wrote me a poem

I don’t know where y’all find such fun items!

Oh my gosh, its such cute poem. Joy and passion of a child being creative then thrown to an adult and questioning why they don’t share the same joy and passion.

It counts and I love that little goober

Not to hog the thread but I recently remembered I have this

When I bought it, it came with the floppy disks on the left, and I thought what a steal!! Unfortunately, when I looked at them… They are all full of let’s say, photography for adults. And I have a weird hang up abot them. I can just see this poor guy downloading all these images off of dial up and putting them on the discs. Like that must have taken ages, and like if I get rid of them I feel like I’ll be haunted some how.

Also the archivist in my brain wants me to archive them but just saying that out loud it’s like. Do I need to save these crusty gross adult oriented photographs? Surely some of it is lost media but like, does that mean it needs to be saved?

It really feels like cursed artifact in a way. And I have a feeling whenever I remember it exists that I have to do something about it/with it.

All that aside the floppy disc holder is quite nice and holds all the floppys I use for my cameras that take them.

This was way more expensive than I would have liked, but I couldn’t resist. It’s like it was made to appeal to me.
