Nice!!! Cameras are always a ton of fun. Soyl’s DSLR can technically fit the same lenses as its old film SLR, and so it’s been using that, as it does not have a modern lens, and it results in some interesting, vintage looking photos somehow.
The lens seems to not focus right with the viewfinder for whatever reason, so its always just guessing as to what the proper exposure/focus/etc is
Soyl finally bought a physical copy of Signalis. It had to search to find a good deal on a copy that contained the photo Elster carries, which was available as a preorder bonus (and some non-preorder copies while they had supply) as they tend to cost a lot more than a copy without, thankfully the one it got did not cost much more than one without said polaroid.
Being an early version of the game it has some content differences between the version it’s played, as well as a few minor things missing from the switch version.
There is a particular word that has been redacted from all newer releases of the game, with the game explaining that said word is an obscenity to the state, and all mentions of it are blanked out with black ink, however, in the early versions, the word is entirely uncensored, which is wild to see the differences considering how much attention it has paid to the game and all the details that it has seen before.
it doesn’t wish to say in the forum as it does not wish to be deactivated /j for maybe spoiler reasons (having theories is fun) but it can confirm them over DMs or something
Preorder from July came today. Will be interesting to go through it again when I have some down time. I’m also planning on pairing the promo cards with their original/matching printings
Bought a used Stetson Temple for $100 less than the new price (~$160 before shipping). It's 1 size too big; but 1, that's easily adjustable, and 2, for that price reduction it's worth it.
It is a 2024 Squier Sonic Mustang in special color Graffiti Yellow ($200 retail, got on sale for $160). It is a shorter scale [24 in.][1] than my other guitars above (Juniper being standard [25.5 in.] and Umi being Gibson Standard [24.75 in.]). To me, this makes it a little easier to larger stretches down the neck[2]. If you read my long post on the Orchard, this is what I wrote Cross Your T's on (not the midwest emo riff, that was on Juniper[3]).
It's primarily going to live in Standard/Drop-D with 11's on it, unless I need a second guitar in either DAEAC#E, FACGCE, or Drop C/C# for a different sound on a song
Technically medium scale since there are some Mustangs that are 22.5 in. scale ↩︎
I'm looking at you Mogwai – Take Me Somewhere Nice↩︎
You can have your personal tastes, but midwest emo is forever tied to the Telecaster ↩︎
The Boss SD-1 Overdrive just came back in stock at my local music store, so finally picked one up. Expect to hear it in music eventually. Chain is currently SD-1 to Op-Amp Big Muff to CH-1 to TR-2 to DD-3 to RV-6
It is a small fan from NRD [1] with a cool counterweight design.
Its like quarter the size of the previous one and is really quiet [2]
I cleaned it as much as I could without taking it apart [3]
Interesting, I've seen tower fans with similar blade designs, but not that small and utilitarian looking. Always liked that aesthetic (coming from the owner of a 1952 Royal Quiet De Luxe)
I don’t think it is exclusively german thing as my polish lamp is literally painted with the same paint, but oddly enough I also associate this color with germany for some reason.
I also had german hairdryer in the exact same color [1], with doesn't help with fighting the stereotype XD
I don’t have any pictures of it and it broke some time ago, but it was basically identical to this one I found online. The design was also interesting with the handle twinsting instead of having a typical hinge in it.
I’ve been wanting this particular thing for a long while and sat on it until the time felt right. Amazes me how nice the board looks at the right lighting (・ω・`)
Ah i was so excited to share guitar i missed the expensive part of OP.
here we have exhibit A of “wow-i-really-purchased-that..”
tada this harkens back to a time when the world stood still and i was locked away inside with dreams of becoming a jazz guitarist ʅ(◞‿◟)ʃ (it did not happen)
