Where I live summers are hot sweaty hellscapes, although I love our summer storms. I enjoy autumn for finally bringing relief and often strong pleasant breezes. Winter is the only time of year here that allows for at least a little bit of layering which opens up a lot more options for outfits. Spring is good to see everything in bloom, I love flowers so much! My city is particularly known for the beautiful purple blooms of Jacaranda trees in October that coat everything underneath them. (Dont have a photo on hand but heres one from the internet)

Here in Louisiana, we have two seasons: Hell, and Chilled Hell. I’m going just going to say I very much prefer Chilled Hell. This year we actually had to turn on our heater for three whole nights! :D

It’s crazy how the us is you can fly 40 minutes in Europe and maybe be in a new country and if you fly 40 minutes in the us your still in the us curious

The US is obviously a liminal hellscape nigh impossible to escape.

It’s so expensive too

Spring time for flowers! I’ve lived in kinda tropical weathers for awhile now so flowers bloom for most of the year. I grew up where flowers were majorly blooming in spring so I hold on to that frame of mind.

i like winter because it’s as far as I ever get from pollen and the heat, and i get to bundle up for free. my area has lost snow entirely over the years, but it’s out there if i look for it.
i like spring because the flowers brighten everything up for a while, and it’s never too hot.
i like summer because it helps me appreciate the other seasons (i have very low heat tolerance). the fruit that’s in season in summer are also some of my favorites.
i like fall because the holidays and flavors associated it are usually pretty good.

overall, spiritually, i am always in winter. even if my arms and hands are always cold.

winter always used to be my favorite, but since snow has become a thing of the past it’s a bit depressing now- especially because of all the holidays there to remind you of what the season should be.
now that it doesnt have to compete with shit like

, autumn has moved from close second to a fairly distant first for me.

The sun is the bane of my existence so those other seasons just cant compete, plus I’m the kind of person who likes to leave windows open in cold weather and just wear blankets like robes

Trying to play FPS games with numb fingers is nostalgic

It’s 100% Spring. Winter is just bleak, Autumn is depressing, Summer is too hot. It’s somewhat cold in the beginning, it’s cool to see everything blooming again and it’s really warm in May. However, if we talk about favourite months, they would be May, August, September and December. May is because it already feels like Summer, just not too hot. August is here because despite summer is hot, it has its own vibes that can’t be missed. September is here for almost the same reason as for May: it’s warm, still feels like Summer, just not too hot. And December is the last because it’s when I was born and it’s hard to be sad during it.

When I was growing up we basically had a rainy season and a not rainy season, this has changed a bit what with warming and all… But I really find my self missing those rainy days, I remember walking to school and back and getting absolutely soaked, I don’t know why I’m nostalgic for that, but I am.

I think spring and autumn are my favourites. They have lots of pretty colours. Summer is probably my least favourite, it gets way too hot for me and I struggle to sleep even more than usual. Winter is nice in that I can have windows open without bugs coming and getting stuck and nice and cool for sleeping.

i used to be a huge fan of winters, but when i fixed my hormones situation, i started getting really cold when the weather was chilly. these days, it’s summer and fall for me! i really like being able to wear a minimum of clothing during the summers and absorb some sun, since i live in a state where we don’t get much sun. falls are great because it’s still a tolerable temperature for mostly any outfit, plus i don’t have to deal with the pollen from trees like i do in spring.

I used to enjoy the summer/spring because I was able to wear light clothing and go outside.

I now enjoy the winter because I am able to wear heavy clothing and stay inside.

But otherwise I do think that what makes a good season depends a lot on your homestead’s insulation and local humidity. Having heated blankets and access to hot cocoa can make any winter a small heaven.

I fell in love with winter it has a special place in my heart as the snow has a lot of good memories my favorite being the memory I had of with my childhood dog Buddy he ran around super excited for the snow and it made a little heart and it made me feel so warm and happy. The winters were always places of comfort and walking during blizzards let me get lost in my imagination listening to music and eating ice cream when those places were open. It is really a shame how winter has become a shell of itself with less snowfall and it truly breaks my heart, Spring has a pseudo top spot as rain and fog are my other favorite conditions of weather mist as well I would always just want to run around in it. I could talk a lot about those two seasons… but uh yeah! Winter and Spring!
