What is the best Season and why?

Oh oh I forgot to mention one of the best things about cold weather, being able to wrap yourself up is a cosy weighted blanket and not worry about overheating!

Definitely summer, basically every other season is too cold for me. Fall aesthetically but summer practically. I get to wear skirts! Without jeans underneath!

definitely spring. i just get so incredibly happy when it comes around. although i do agree with the arguments for winter. love it too.

I prefer winter than any other seasons because I just hate when it’s too hot outside like in the summer, I don’t know why. I just prefer to stay inside and sit by a fireplace on a couch while reading a book or watching a movie. I also just love how beautiful it is to see my whole city covered in snow.
I also like spring because you can see all the trees regrow their leaves and I just think they’re beautiful to look at.

Personally prefer fall, I think the vibes are just so chill, and then spring is a close second cause the regrowth of everything is super pretty. Least favorite is summer though cause the heat is just too much

Both here in Québec and back in São Paulo I always preferred the Fall season!

In São Paulo the seasons aren’t as noticeable as here just because the changes are very smooth and gradual. But around April we’d have these huuuuge thunderstorms, and they caused incredibly pretty skies with lots of personality to them. The storms themselves were not to be trifled with but they were awesome in their own way (if you’ve ever had the experience of hearing continuous thunder from chained lightning strikes, you know :face_with_hand_over_mouth:)

São Paulo weather is known to be chaotic, it’s a common joke that to determine the weather you should roll a d20 every time you’re about to leave the subway, but I kinda liked that chaos, and the generally better temperature ranges of the transitory seasons, not too hot, not too cold.

Now, up here in Québec, Fall is the only good season so that’s easy. We have awful 8 months long winters, we don’t really have spring, rather we have a mud season. The flowering plants that try to flower in spring fail because of the strong mid-spring snowstorms, so we only get them flowering for like a week max. Then the summer is scorching and lasts so little.

Fall here is incredibly beautiful though, the reds, yellows and oranges are incredibly pretty, and the weather and temperature are as good as they get here ^^

Winter.
This is because summer, although it does have many nice things has four main problems. 1. If the winter is too cold, you can put on more clothes, which is helpfully quite nice for this one’s sensory issues, but if the summer is too hot, one can only get so naked to cool down. Problem numbers 2 to 4 are shared with spring so: 2. terrible hayfever. 3. There’s ants and mosquitos everywhere, and while moths are cool, it’s annoying to have them flap around screens and bathroom lights late at night. 4. This problem is one more isolated to rural damp fish and chips land :uk::uk::uk:, but everything smells like crap the entire time because the farms around have crap spread on them.
One reason that stops autumn from being the best is the damp, rotting leaves smell that persists everywhere in damp fish and chips land :uk::uk::uk: during autumn.
Also winter gets snow sometimes and that’s really nice looking and you can make stuff with snow if there’s enough of it which is super fun.

1st place (tied) : Spring and fall, because they are more balanced seasons.

3rd place : Winter, the coldness (generally) don’t bother me a lot, but I often get sick during this season.

4th place : Summer, way too hot for me and sleeping can be a nightmare sometimes.
