One of our partner systems really likes Lobotomy Corp and Library of Ruina and so we get exposed to it a lot even though we don't play them and some of the music is banging

Music for lonely deserts is something i frequently find relaxing. I think it's because it takes me back to my visits to California.

Not a lot of music in video games give me pause, but this was one of the few times where i just had to stop playing and let the music set in. It definitely has an enchanting :sparkles: sound.

"Elegy for Perfect Destruction" by voidhost but I program an entire orchestra to it (ft DnZbR) / Axesteel

Game isn't out yet, but it has some nice tunes. Just listen to that dynamic soundstaging.

I really love the XMB theme of some PS3 games

In helldivers 2 the automaton patrols chant this as they march.
CW: scary and angry robot noises

This is one of my favorites that came out recently, but I think i gave myself burnout from the music already

shiren the wanderer 6's "unique monster house" theme, music that plays when the player is suddenly thrust into an exceptionally perilous situation (specifically a room full of dangerous enemies[1], with almost no advance warning)

  1. specifically Power Houses which seem to be all about max level enemy variants, but there might be other kinds i've not seen yet ↩︎

Sometimes I vibe so much to this song I get distracted and it leads me to a failed run T-T

This game was neat and had a good sound track

A little analysis of this song and the context around it

I have fallen out of love for Honkai Star rail

It was fun while I played but it grew too tiring to continue. This song though, struck a chord with me

And while I couldn't really recommend playing star rail or gacha games in general for a few reasons, I feel like the music they put out deserves to be appreciated despite their practices as a company—mainly for the artists behind such works.

And as a little extra here's a version without the first half playing as it does just like in the game, edited together by the same person who made the analysis
