As for technical aspects affected the emotion of their practitioners, I bring an example:
Once I was tasked with enchanting 3 blades capable of slaying the un-living. However, I was going through a rather tremendous tear in my own reality (she took the damned vacuum of rippling lightning) and had much on my mind. Thus, to ease my tensions I cloned my self thrice so that myselves may manage my work tasks while I managed this tear.
One clone enchanted a blade that would destroy machinations of arcane construct.
One clone enchanted a blade that would destroy inorganic material.
The last clone enchanted a blade that would destroy the undead, but was blunted and ineffective against anything else.
Once some years ago for fun and optionally I retreated to a familiar locale just to visit. I hoped to rendezvous with old faces and indeed they were faces. The ones I saw that is.
Some younger and brighter with joy than I remember, some indeed older and wiser as I expected.
It was far fewer faces than I hoped. In my retreat I felt mostly forgotten - but later I remembered times when I have felt dedicated and unreachable; above them (yes even you) all. I discovered the importance of being aware of your present and that even if my existence was meaningless to those meaningful face; I’ll cherish them, cheer them on and hope that meaningless doesn’t last forever.
To them I then say, see you next time and with love.
losing your belfry really changed you, or perhaps the part of you left in a phylactery has since withered.
It doesn't matter if someone gets to fly the easy way, or even if they are fortunate enough to make use of enchanted equipment. all that matters is what they choose to do with their power.
Unfortunately, i've seen clips of you losing your cool in a karaoke bar on the Ticking Tock and you seem to be using your power to show off and put others down. I don't want to kick you while you're down, but it's rather unbecoming of a lvl 18 wizard to be squabbling about wizard purity. It's 20XX, the times have moved on, we multiclass now, so what? It's not about optimizing your build, it's about having fun and living the life you want to live, is it not?
It's not too late, I just don't want to see you grow bitter and secluded. If there's anything I can do to help, don't hesitate to ask.
