I’ve been absolutely loving The Pilgrim, Their God and the King of My Decrepit Mountain by Tapir!, hoping they become popular enough to tour on my side of the pond. They remind me of my favorite parts of Black Country, New Road and Fleet Foxes.

This song is really great… maybe my favorite vocal synth song in general… I always feel weird listening to it cause I think I shouldn’t feel like I relate to this song so much… so I don’t listen to it often.
Also that kasane teto is a synthV… if only utau teto sounded like that… (actually no! I love janky Kasane Teto!)

Oh wow! As a first-time listener of this artist, that song is so deep…I also recalled a song (that I similarly think I shouldn’t relate to so much) I used to play on repeat back in 2020, during lockdown. But now, it just makes me tear up every time I play it, since I feel so bad for my younger self who was mentally struggling at the time…
