right now i’m listening to the album emperor tomato ketchup by stereolab, and i strongly recommend anything from them—especially if you’re into indie rock or pop with a more experimental bent

I really like this song (and many others) from Keygen Church! It starts off so melancholy then becomes more intense…the auditory rush I get feels amazing. Would definitely recommend this artist if you’re into songs like this ^.^

unbeatableUNBEATABLE on Steam just had a new announcement trailerhttps://youtu.be/xWNwFSNFw74 and i am legally* obligated to throw the demo tapes (present in [white label] which is a free and legal thrill (actually considering the music crimes maybe it’s illegal) ) at everyone!

I have friends in Melbourne who rode the 109 regularly for school and/or uni and they all say this song is 100% accurate

While I’m recommending songs about Melbourne I have to include

Highpoint Shopping Center is mentioned in both songs, what an establishment

Hey bro wake up Seb Lowe made anoþer song wiþ “Subtle” political messaging

For me this is the most emotional music I’ve ever heard in a TV show

Also 3 other tracks from that show that I also like a lot :

The TV show in question is Oban Star Racer, it’s great but not talked about that much online. Easily one of my favorite animes ever watched.

Here are some covers of popular songs with major stylistic diversions.

(Billy Cobb (below) has way more where this came from btw)

This one is more obscure so here’s the original and the cover.

The kind of music where the beat just drops gives me an indescribable feeling of bliss…
