Finally thought of another example of using words in a way they haven't typically been used until recently:
"juice", as a measurement. This was first popularized through cars and gasoline I think (e.g. "give it more juice"). It's also used figuratively for "energy" (e.g. "I'm outta juice!"). It's in this angle that I see it as a quantity, in a similar manner to "spoons" referring to mental bandwidth.
I've seen enough memes and other people generalize it to just, most quantities that don't have a definite measurement (or in some cases, in place of a definite measurement) e.g. a person that you can tell is very gender has a lot of gender juice, a younger, able-bodied person has more flexibility juice than an older person, a person with anxiety has disproportionally more stress juice compared to a neurotypical person, and a taller person has more height and reach juice than a shorter person.
Generalizing it all to just "juice" feels appealing in how it simplifies and generalizes the concept. "This person has more of X than me".

Another word I tend to use a lot, figuratively, is "explode". I've always had an affinity to the word and find it very fun (and, optionally, very dramatic) to say. I use "explode" as a substitute for "get upset", generally. This is entirely due to the Spongebob episode "Dying For Pie", and seeing a clip recirculate introduced the term into my vocabulary. I use it for much less severe bouts of frustration than one would usually use the word, but as a person who usually gets frustrated to unhealthy levels and has learned to temper their frustration, using "explode" matches how I feel internally, and how I'd prefer to feel if emotional stress like that didn't take a toll on the body (or give you weird looks in certain situations).
I also use "explode" in a manner of "with joy". It has great imagery, it feels, in some ways, like I'm a supernova that's intensifying when I use it.

Paranvoi

Finnish word for a kind of slime mold, means "butter of the familiar spirit." These slime molds were believed to be witchs' familiars used to spoil their neighbors' milk.

Or so says the wikipedia page for fulgio septica, the citations don't back this up though.
