To make text italic, use the * symbol once wrapped around the word. *hello* hello
To make text bold, use the * symbol twice wrapped around the word. **hello** hello
To make text italic and bold, use the * symbol 3 times wrapped around the word. ***hello*** hello
To increase the size to a header, just use the # symbol. Add more to make subchapters. # hello ## hello ...
To strikethrough text, use two squiggles. ~~hello~~ hello
To make a simple codeblock, use one of ` symbol.
