the vocaloidP and cover discussion reminded me of a vtuber, actually. (and before i get to that, 3/THREE/howeverthenameisromanized and teniwoha are super good ones yes big agree)
Ryushen, or Sengawa Midori though i’ve never seen that name used outside the wiki and website listings,
and i’m taking a random solo cover rather than any in specific,
is gender unspecified. this is rather interesting not just among vtubers who debuted 4+ years ago, (wow they debuted 2 0 1 6 what the heck) but Nijisanji which they’re under is also a corporation and has had some issues on the non-Japanese branches later in time with handling nonbinary identities.
being nonbinary is also rather contrary to idol culture as i understand it, and though i’m sure being established early helps with that being more normal, they’re still one of the few corporate nonbinary streamers in this strange space, and that’s pretty neat.
