i took the test here
my normal wpm: 86 wpm
typing as fast as i can: 114 wpm
took the standard one and got a 75, which i think is higher than i was expecting? the signals get crossed all the time when typing so i gotta do a bunch of backtracking to correct typos lmao.
On my phone. Coppying with corect spelling not looking at the keaboard like i normaly do
15 words a minuite on easy
mine seems to be pretty consistent at ~92wpm, i got values around that for the 1 minute tests and for the benchmark test
can’t seem to get any faster than that even if i try, but it’s also my normal typing speed as well
Now I feel kinda embarrassed by typing speed is only ~40 wpm
Dont worry
I got 91 wpm but 100% accuracy cause I kept having to backspace out typos and fix it
dont feel bad! its just for funsies
Just got 105 wpm on that typing test. One minute, medium text. 90 is pretty comfy. I could probably get faster if I used lighter actuation switches and learned not to bottom out my keys, but as it stands I always get my fastest times on my Model M bc I can hit it harder and faster, lol. Didn’t pull it out for this test though.
fast, but slow. semi reliably is in the mid 90s but it has to go back to fix dyslexia mistakes that make it slower.
taking the test i get… 42, but I know i type faster, I’m just really bad at typing text that I am reading, and I have spelling issues, and the test does not like that. I would say i type average, or slightly above though.
I go between 30-60. I never really got used to not looking at the keyboard and struggle with my positioning over it.
I’m getting about 60wpm , but I kinda recently got a new keyboard and maybe haven’t yet acclimated to writing that fast with it yet I think. (excuse)
My typing speed is about 60 wpm in English. However, it is about 130 wpm in Russian. I think there are two reasons why there’s such huge difference. The first reason is that I am, of course, more familiar with my native language. The second reason is that left side of the keyboard is utilized more than the right side in Russian and I am better at typing with my left hand than my right hand. I feel like in English keyboard is utilized more evenly.
I got 65 wpm but I would lose time by trying to correct typos, I don’t type as often as I did in the past which is probably why it’s a bit slower but I’m pretty happy with the score :>
I think 38 is pretty alright considering I only type with 2 fingers and cant type without looking at the keyboard.
So fast I make to many spelling errors
40 wpm ;-;
we like monkeytype because when we put it in quote mode it’s much closer to what our speed is like typing actual sentences . . . anyways we got 129 wpm
this is actually a new best for us, we had quite a dip when we tried to learn another keyboard layout, then another when we got a second keyboard for work (with yet another layout) but it looks like we’re finally back to our “normal” in that regard
