Plushie Pile

Update: I found a place in my room for Squiggy to hang (or pseudo-float) in the air, incase he needs a break from land-surfing

Sorry thins post is so long I just love them all so much <3
Here the boys I brought to college
(Teddy in the left, no name cause I forgot it in the middle(accepting names), and Penguino on the left)
Teddy I’ve had since early elementary at least I think from a funfair
Penguino for similarly long
And my mom got me the unnamed dino at the start of college when I showed her it in target (he’s weighted)

Some of the boys I left home cause space issues
Sadly no photos cause I lost most when my last phones motherboard just died

Dino said, dee-no the bestest boy, I got for myself on a whim in highschool

My friends got me for my last bday (named slay slay slider)

Clarence - my sister got me and I misread the clearance tag as Clarence

How many Gengar can fit it one haunted chateau?
Assume a spherical Gengar.

They live in the gap between the bed and the wall

Let's assume that the old chateau is a small mansion, since it doesn't seem very large. I'd put it in the smaller end, so it's just go with a flat 800 square meters (8611 square feet) of space. I'm going to be generous and say it's a pretty tall mansion. A one story house is roughly 4.75 meters tall, so we'll go with that. This gives us a total volume of 3800 meters cubed.

Gengars are said to be roughly 4 foot 11, and since they're roughly as wide as they are tall, if you assume a spherical Gengar then you end up with a sphere with radius of 2 ft 6.5 inches or 0.7747 meters. This means each Gengar has a volume of roughly 1.95 meters cubed.

I'm not going to do a sphere packing problem while I'm on the clock, so here's the lazy solution that is absolutely incorrect:

3800/1.95 ≈ 1948 Gengars with some change to spare.

I leave it to the reader to find the proper number. This wikipedia article on sphere packing would be a good place to start.
