Oresama has some very cute music videos, this first one has a niche art thing I really love in the same subject is recreated in a lot of different art styles :3
Two videos about @catankitty's favourite thing, cars ![]()
No wait pls don't hit me with a hammer
they're good I promise
Pure vibes and aesthetic
They really killed it with this mv, its chock full of the most iconic moments in F1 history, and even if you're not familiar the pure energy and emotion of it should still shine through
that first one makes us feel so nostalgic now
i love coalowl's animations in general, but recently i've been especially appreciating how the character on the left here is not noticeably less emotive (and even more so seeing what they do express). just got me thinking about how rare it is for me to come across specifically music videos where facial emotion isn't really emphasized.
Incredible music video and song! It actually reminded me of this incredible animation I saw years ago for a song I love ^^ (warning: trippy visuals, flashing/strobing lights, potentially amplified volume in some parts[1])
basically it gonna feel like you’re trippin on acid the entire time; gotta be one of my favorite mv genres ↩︎
Context for this song: these pirates are sneaking up on a manor to raid it, and its really important they're very quiet. They will walk quietly, with catlike tread ![]()
The loudest sneaking you'll ever hear ![]()
Kevin Kline is absolutely EATING as the pirate king, he didn't leave a SINGLE CRUMB on that stage.
Like
Outrageous
So outrageous

I'm screaming
The Pirates of Penzance is my favourite musical of all time, I really need to organize some kind of watch party for it
100 Gecs feels like if the 90s trend of popular harshness kept going for 30 years.
I really like the music videos people make from their stuff.
The Wiggles are a popular children's entertainment group in Australia.
My cousin showed this to me recently and its been in my head rent free ever since. The definition of they didn't have to go this hard but they did.
There's just so much going on here I don't even know where to start.
The fire dancing, the tree of wisdoms incredible low budget costume, the way he dances??? And the song is a bop to boot, its real fun to sing back through the cumulative verse as it builds way up.
The Rattlin bog! All Irish kids know like 8 verses. I haven't thought of that in years
I typically agree, but once upon a time there was a thriving community around AMVs that went much further than that. And as someone who was sad to see youtube's algorithm absolutely butcher that community, I wanna share a bunch of neat ones that do a variety of different things.
AMV - Cant Hold Us
Honestly was pretty simple but took a bunch more effort than many amv and shadow art is a style that's woefully under utilized and shows the power of how strong silhouettes for characters make a world of difference.
AMV It's Better to have loved and lost
Oh boy, how taking the music and the editing of some clips to completely recontextualize everything to tell a new story can do wonders~
AMV Lip Bomb
Honestly this one is more of just a showcase of the effort people used to go to for some memes in that community as lip syncing is not an easy task!
AMV Ship Happens
Oh boy, this one is oldschool brainrot, but the amount of effort put into this one to entirely unique in the AMV space is great!
AMV With A Capital T
I love this one for it's playing around with syncing up with the beat along with making sure to try to keep context of most scenes in line with the song while also still being fun and flashy like the show intended to be.
There's a lot more AMVs i'd love to share, but also, most of them are of a lower bar than these. A lot of my favorites rely on having seen a given show to take the meaning of a song and actually do something with it, which i'd say is less powerful than being able to take a song and transform a shows meaning like some AMV can do.
Gira Gira is a fantastic song, but the music video for it really elevates its themes even further, and it's sooooo so beautiful
GYARI's series of songs between "Akane-chan will listen to whatever you say"/Seyana and "Kiritan Wants to Battle Online Endlessly" all have a bit of that "musical energy" to them where the song by itself isn't as complete of an experience as the song along with the video. My personal favorite is Akari Has Arrived:
The levels of cuteness here really go off the charts with this music video. I legitimately tear up every time. The song is so simple and it has one trick that it executes extremely well. The last verse roughly translates as "When the moment comes, I'll speak carefully. Things might get tough, things might get sad, but I'll always be there for you. Let's stay together and hope our bonds unite others. Always, Always, Always, Me and you. So that's why, pretty please, look forward to it"
I've never seen a translation that really fits, but the meaning of, after this long song of silly onomatopoeia, a single verse essentially saying "hey, I know this is silly, but when it comes down to it, I'll be serious and I'll always be there for you" is just so sweet. And the fact that the verse uses the same melody that's featured throughout the song!! It's like the whole song is building up to that one moment and it just sticks the landing perfectly. This is one of my favorite songs because of it.
This "music video" is far more art piece that music video, still it is a video and has music, the main point is that it looks amazing:
Besides that here is another video which is more of a music video but the visuals are what is the best part of the video.
its verry good i like it
