Just remembered that Daft Punk, a french music duo, made a series of songs that where made into an anime.
Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem is a 2003 anime musical science fiction film. Whoever is behind the channel that made this video, on an average of once a year they drop an extremely well animated video on an indie song from a corner of the internet starring the characters from a 2004 RPG maker psychological horror game.
Words cannot describe the amount of joy this channel’s existence brings me.

I adore this one so much! Such a bizarre but fitting assemblage of gifs that adorned the personalized internet web pages that defined the internet around the turn of the millennium. It’s so affectionate and lets the gifs speak for themselves. made in the twilight years of geocities and in the burgeoning era of MySpace and social media to come. It feels like a change of the guard
