I'm going to be real, the Youtube algorithm caught this one and it is currently in the process of breaking me (has similar power to Songs About Leaving – Carissa's Wierd) since yesterday afternoon. Don't let the length put you off, this needs to be witnessed.
I've somehow posted 2 covers of a The Brave Little Abacus song but not any of their actual songs, let me fix thattt
Another great YouTube recommended pull, probably played it about 15 time in the last 24 hrs.
Also @Kate, if you like The Brave Little Abacus then I'd recommend Kara's Walk Home, similar vibe
This particular album by Desolo Zantas, but really, all of their music is great. I stumbled across their music a while back, with "Downtown Clowntown"[1], and kinda got enraptured; recently relistened to Omniphobia, and figured i should share it here.
silly name, but really good track ↩︎
I don't know how I haven't posted any Gorillaz music yet they were literally my first musical obsession and is probably what got me into virtual singers and bands and probably music as a whole and I still love them unlike a lot of the things I used to listen to
CW: There's a lot of crude-ish(?) humor in their songs and a lot of war stuff especially in the Demon Days tracks that has aged slightly well, war? war never change.
Pretty sure this had a complete video? It's not on the official channel though
I found a reupload here so it might have worse audio or something but the MV is really good so you should check it out (if you want ofc) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xc6DpCXkucY
Kara's Walk Home is sooo good thank you so much for the recommendation oh my god they're like crossbred casio dad and Little Brave Abacus this is going to be my new obsession now,,, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?!?! /silly
I listened to this song so many times one repeat in middle/high school
They've gotten a lot more popular due to their work with Mashle and Dan da Dan's openings but Creepy Nuts is genuinely one of my favorite artists. I love their music so much the mix of rap / jazz / blues / electronic is just sublime.
This pier looks vaguely like some of the piers in Hawaii and it gives me a nostalgic feeling.
Song is good too
it feels like a sibling to ( stay, its eventide) like the summer sunset version to eventides winter sunrise
its definately a tropical pier ive never been anywhere like that
i like nostalgic songs
