Carbon Based Lifeforms. In general their songs have a ambient "trippy chill" atmosphere to them as someone described it and I think it sums it up well enough. I prefer their older works the most. Great to put in the background when jogging or doing chores and daydream away...
I had way too much trouble - and took too much time - choosing just three example songs that represent the range of their style, I just like nearly everything from them.
Firstly here is a album called Carmen Miranda's Ghost by Leslie Fish, which can be described as space Cowboy country music:
Second here is some music by Talisk which was also used in the game "A Highland Song":
Also i really like the song "Waratteta" by Yoko Kanno & Seatbelts, this is partly becouse of the association i have with this song and Oban star Racers a French/Japanese animation series i really like, but here is the song:
Finally "A nostalgic dream" by Peter Gundry, i really like the magical peaceful vibe, i also really like the image in the video.
Just listened to this song and oh my god, both the song and visuals are incredible! It's unlike practically anything else I've ever listened to...aside from maybe certain classical works I can't remember atm? Doesn't matter though, I love this so much thank you for sharing!! ><
