the reason being that masato nakamura, who’s the bassist of the band, was also the composer for sonic 1 and 2

I listen to a lot of jazz and jazz fusion bands. Here are two of my favorite instrumental albums:
When looking for music to post to this thread, I remembered enjoying the soundtrack to a little-known indie game called Vacant Kingdom. I decided to give the composer’s other work a listen and was surprised with how much higher the quality was. Coincidentally, they just released a new album and I found it thoroughly enjoyable. Breakcore is usually not my thing, but I think some of you will get a kick out of this:

Would people mabye be interested in a big community playlist? Theres so many good song suggestions in here, and it might be kinda cool to have a central place that they can get added to. I recon a youtube music playlist would probably work best [1]

recently I’ve been on a months long hyperpopfixation, which came about around porter robinson’s new album (the frost children are sooo awesome!), big fan of brakence (hypochondriac is one of my fav albums), underscores, ericdoa, heylog just to name a few
then Very recently I’ve been revisiting all of aesop rock’s discography, and it’s nice to be super into a lyrical rapper’s work, makes me feel a little smarter listening to music (lupe fiasco’s music was one of my first introductions to sociology I looove his work)
