Hiiii This is a silly topic and feels like a very stupid question,, and maybe i'm the only one being confused (hopefully not).
Hear me out: we’ve got some very specific reactions emojis[1] () and i've been wondering for a while how am i supposed to use them, if that makes sense.... Curious what each one means to you / in what situation you use them?
For and it's pretty straight-forward to me, i think? I use them as a "like button" and a bit similar to how i use flowers emotes, just stuff i want to give support to!
For "hot beverage" or the coffee/hot chocolate one , i don't use it unless a bunch of gardeners react only with that, but I have no idea what's it for??? Just feels like one for silly things, but not sure... looks very silly and seems to be used by folks for silly stuff! i do use it for that at least for upsetting/sad posts, especially in vent channels, but i'm not very sure no idea, i'm so lost I guess for messages that are weird/gives you something to think about? it always confuses me

i'm not speaking with any authority here[1] , but here's my takes on how i use/interpret them!
for general appreciation of something.
for a more abstract supportive vibe of appreciation. the way you'd gift someone a plant in the hopes of them taking care of it and watching it grow.
for a more direct supportive vibe of appreciation. the way you'd make someone a cup of their beverage of choice after a rough day.
honestly the only use i've identified for them is posts relating to fish (animal) or fish (hazel), but there's situations where is used and those don't apply...?[2]
for silly/goofy posts, or ones containing or relating to horses.
for showing support to sad posts, i think you got it spot on.
either dinosaurs or (redfire)yoshi or also as of yet unknown meaning.
always confuses me too, and i sometimes think it can come off a little... passive aggressive(?) but in my opinion the yellow balances out the colours in the picker nicely :3.
i really relate to the overthinking, but i usually (try to) hit it with a "quietly analysing the chaos for patterns" (with mixed success, but it works here (for me)).

It’s ok it’s not random at all. Chicken Butt 420 is not how I usually go by online. And quite frankly I prolly made up the name when I was drunk kinda like a “HA HA I SAID THE FUNNY NUMBER!”

I use this when someone pointed out something i had not thought about or clarifies something for me, Or a reaction to a question when i too don't know the answer. Something akin to "interesting" or "mm, i see". Similar in vibe to for "i'm writing that down"
The other reacitons i generally agree with the others here. this did not register as dinodance for me, but i'm not that active on the twitch side to follow the meme about dinodance.
