Games you've been playing

A thread for games you’ve been playing recently.

I got 3 games during the spring steam sale, but I have yet to play any of them because I’ve spent all the last week playing this free game instead.

It’s a very fun (and very hard) roguelike sidescroller shooter game and I got addicted to it very quick. It’s very charming and the characters are cute. Also it was made in Scratch. Once again, it’s free, so you should go play it right now.

I’ve been playing the Stardew update with one of my friends right now. I’ve been playing Helldrivers 2 and MechWarrior Online by myself mostly a bit with some friends. Oh and I’ve been playing a bit of Sky: Children of Light off and on since it was talked about on stream awhile ago.

I’ve been playing a lot of Helldivers 2 with friends. Stardew Valley got a new update so been playing a lot of that. I’ve been trying some games in my library I never played before because I have so darn many and have been enjoying Hue and 60 Seconds. Other then that, I’m still playing Genshin every now and then.

I’ve been playing a lot of Ragnarok Online (20 year old MMO), with some casual Guilty Gear -Strive- once in a while :3

BallisticNG! It’s similar to Wipeout 2097 (wikipedia), but modernized.

I have finally played Baldur’s Gate 3 a few days ago. It was great and I might actually finish it when I feel better (it’s hard to play emotional and sensual game when you have issues IRL). Aside from BG3, there aren’t any new games I have played. I play Apex Legends regularly for an hour or another, but no more.

Two short and free games I've enjoyed recently:

20 Small Mazes

It's what it says on the tin. I beg you to play this it is delightful.

Beecarbonize

Real time card game where you fight to defeat climate change. Cathartic to play when you're frustrated by the lack of progress in the real world, also fun to explore the different options you have and the various paths to victory. I wish it had a bit more depth but defs still has enough to enthrall you for a good while.

I’ve been playing War Thunder, as I’ve been doing for… A while… Sweden’s been fun to play, though! Pretty designs.

I’ve also been playing Overwatch 2. Mei is my favorite, but I just started playing Brigitte, and she’s plenty fun too! Playing Support characters always makes me feel good for helping my team.

Recently I’m been playing Persona 5 (with fem-MC mods) and really enjoying it. It’s got pretty solid writing and characters, and it’s one of the most stylish games I’ve ever encountered.

I’ve been playing Spell Disk. It’s a really fun roguelike, and it has a free demo that allows for enough of a run to get a taste. It also has a Vampire Survivors style mode, if a normal dungeon run isn’t quite what you want to try.

i’ve been playing Terraria (i think that’s where all the r’s go in that title…) again lately with some friends on a Calamity world. been a while since i ran through the game or the mod so it’s a pretty fresh experience.

i will have been playing a few others on my backlog soon (i stream them to friends or just in general so i can block out a time to sit down and play): Hypnospace Outlaw, Heaven Will Be Mine, Lunacid, and The House in Fata Morgana just as a few rapid-fire titles.

Path of the Abyss is a small indie dungeon crawler that i’m pretty fond of! i playtested it before it hit early access, and it does scratch the Etrian itch pretty well (but also i need to play through those again sometime). Japanese and rough English TL only at the moment. fun combat systems.
