its technically more consistent with how is and are were used historically - is for singular, are for plural yea. but thats not how theyre used in modern english so i wouldnt say its more correct. the correct way to say something is the way everyone says it and since everyone says they are even for singular they, thats the correct way to say it
they is actually very similar to you - both were historically plural and have a more modern singural use, but everyone still uses are with them

for dutch, i heard most enbies use hen. im not dutch so cant say how common this actually is but i do agree that making a new pronoun is a better solution for dutch than trying to adapt singular they

i wonder if the reason i dislike a lot of holidays is because they're so entangled with "not being able to get good sleep"... vacation less so, but still possible.

I’ve been thinking about how funny it is that peregrine falcons reach the world record for fastest animal just by falling at terminal velocity. It feels like a victory by technicality lol

Half bed half shower thought:

If you translate Sleep to Dutch you get Slaap. Exact same word except the E becomes a A

While i find that interesting and i wonder how many words are just the same when you swap the vowel, i also had a second thought.

If Sleep = Slaap then Eep = Aap

But then when i say: I'm gonna Eep
translating it to: ik ga Aap

But then I am saying: i'm going Ape

And i found that funny :D

Another shower thought, one i have had before but still.

I'f i ever isekai to the Pokemon world (preferably as a cute tomboy Psychic) then i will get a big e-cargobike and spend my Pokemon journey travelling around on it. Then i may also hope to make friends with a electric Pokemon as a starter to give the bike some extra juse.

All of my Pokemon are free to enter and leave their balls as they wish, many of the small ones hanging out in the front of the cargo bike i wind in thier "hair". Then of i make friends with a bigger humanoïd Pokemon then i upgrade to a tandem cargo bike so they can peddal as well. Depending on how big my friends get i may need to think of some other solutions.

I think i would love to travel around, learn some cool tricks, maybe learn a bit from the joy clan about healing and such. Oh visiting Pokemon Venice (Alto Mare) borrowing a boat, getting some Aria cosplay and trying to spot/meet Latios & Latias.

Besides that there must be many other neat places i would like to visit and cool Pokemon/people to meet and befriend (if i can be a bit less introverd)

So ehh, Arceus if i ever die, like by getting hit on my bike by some ass driving far to large pickup truck, could you please isekai me, i would be really thankful (also still beeing able to connect and send messages to the garden would be neat).
