The interstage material in some US thermonuclear bombs was called “Fogbank”, which does top secret things which I, of course, don’t know about. However, this material was so top secret that when it came round to maintenance of said bombs, no-one knew how to make it anymore. All the people who knew had either forgotten to died. So for 8 years, NASA had to try and reverse engineer it, but never managed to. Although the material was never figured out, they did manage to make a new version, which was cheaper and less toxic to make, so it all worked out quite well.
how were special effects made in movies before computers. how was anything made at all without computers. i have looked it up and read about it but it still boggles my mind
The first time I saw this post I didn’t really look into the link for some reason or another. I was looking back at this thread to relate something to another thread. I saw this post and clicked on the link. The first one you quoted last night in Minecraft. xD That cracked me up so much.

When you’re sore or tense, stretching is like trying to do a factory reset on your muscles.
Like from working them to long or weirdly they’ve gotten locked up, and you need to turn them off and on again to get them back to their default relaxed state
What percentage of the water i am drinking has passed through a dinosaur and remained as water molicules this hole time

Theses are all great questions! Truly some of life’s great mysteries. I’ve thought about this too. Not actually the same thoughts but ver similar thought processes.
the stylist cuts your hair, but who cuts the stylist’s hair? do they do it themselves? how do you cut the back of your hair if they do?
I bought scissors recently and was caught out by the fact I needed scissors to open my new scissors. But I didn’t have any scissors, that was why I was getting scissors.
Truly a situation to be in
I’m sure a stylist can cut their own hair even at the back, but i imagine a chef would like to take a break from cooking every now and then
I cut my own hair tho.
There’s this old… riddle? joke? aphorism? about how if there are two hair stylists in town, one with beautiful hair and one with terrible hair, you should go to the one with terrible hair.
It’s also one of Professor Layton puzzles.
I remember the drawing of it being really creepy
How many internal organs,can I
Surgically removed before somebody dies asking for a freind :)
About 18! , they will not live a happy life however
6.4*10¹⁵ is a pretty big number of organs, i doubt that we have that many organs because that's orders of magnitude more than the number of cells in our organism
so this question is phrased where every person in the world could donate a kidney and one person dies however a person dies every few minuites so you wouldnt actualy be able to fully donate a kidney in that time
it depends on your definitions but my answer would be 0, 133333333 or 8 billion
(definitions being only the last moment counts as removal)
averaged number of kidey donation
or 8billion 3 hour surgury 3 min time slot
3h=180min 180/3=30 one surgury/60=0.0166666666667
8000000000*0.0166666666667= 133333333 kidneys
