this has a similar energy to what I felt mine would be like, so I tried.

canadian utterly fails to recall state names

I've actually gotten better with states thanks to being here, but I still quickly realized I was helpless. I honestly just forgot most of the state names to begin with, including Arizona, the one state I've been to...

I didn't even see "Texas 2" on the original map at first, so it's really funny that my map has another version of Texas 2.

and for reference, I'm pretty sure I could point to every Canada province/territory on a map, though I mix up Alberta and Saskatchewan sometimes. Just a difference of what I was taught in school, I guess, but it also helps that they're fewer and more distinct in shape.

I'll rate/give some pointers

N/S Carolina: Correct
Alabama is one of those
That's not Arkansas
"Kansas is somewhere" is partially on Kansas, good job
One of those is Michigan! I live in the other one.
West Coast is correct, as are Alaska and Hawaii.
Los Angeles, San Diego, and Las Vegas are all cities. One of them is in one of those states (which is otherwise mostly empty desert), the other two are in a nearby state.
Likewise, there is a Boston around there! But it's a city again, not a state
Ohio is around there

I'd rate it a decent attempt for a nonresident!

... I kind of want to see @a_lilian try it, based on how well they could remember North American geography on the my house stream

Oh also Pankit, for reference: one of the white spaces on your map is actually a lake

I don't think it's cheating to know this bit of information
