Spoiler warning for season 1 of chainsaw man
Guns have significance in chainsaw man because of the Gun Devil which is an extremely dangerous creature which motivates many characters in the story, mostly to take revenge. So the lyrics "reached for the gun" can describe how so many characters are trying to reach the Gun Devil
