this is my favorite amv of all time, and i've seen a lot of amvs. it is the most well edited amv i've ever seen. every time i rewatch it, i find a new detail to admire. it's also fma03 which is my favorite anime of all time [1]

wasn't able to work on my own amv this weekend, so as pennance, i will share another one of my favorite amvs.

i love everything about this amv. i love this song[1]. i love the emotion and vibe throughout. i love the recontextualization of the same kingdom hearts cutscenes that i've seen a million times over. i'm usually a twixtor[2] Hater, but god it works so well in this video. the timing, the coloring, all peak.

  1. i have strong feelings about aku no hana and wish that the anime got a second season ↩︎

  2. the plug-in that a lot of editors use to slow down clips and create frames where there originally were none. it can be done well, but it usually just makes things look weird and messy ↩︎

i didn't get all the hype for kpop demon hunters. i thought it was just fine. precure is my guilty pleasure though, and oh boy is this amv edited well. it's absolutely stellar. the clip choice, the timing, the transitions, all top tier. one of the best to ever do it.
